The Ancient Philosophy Workshop has 3 main functions:
(1) It is a forum for advanced graduate students to present papers and receive feedback.
(2) It is a forum for all members of the workshop to translate and discuss ancient philosophical texts. For the 2011–2012 school year we will be reading Aristotle’s On Generation and Corruption.
(3) The workshop sponsors talks by distinguished local, national, and international members of the ancient philosophy community.
