This coming Monday Paolo Savoia (University of Pisa) will be presenting a paper on Foucault’s subjectivity and subjectivation. The paper, available on the link below, touches on Foucault’s analysis of resistance in terms of counter-conduct, the notions of subjectivity and subjectivation within the context of the study of the history of psychiatry and sexuality, and the distinction between pleasure and desire.
