International Relations – (PIPES)

PIPES is a center for reserch and training in international politics at the Universit of Chicago. It supports research by faculty and graduate students adn conducts a workshop featuring invited scholars. Weekly PIPES seminars also provide a forum for advanced graduate students and faculty to present their reserch. Topics include the full range of international politics and theory, including political economy, security studies, foreign policy, international law and organizations, international environmental issues, human rights, critical international relations theory, and a wide variety of regional issues. The papers presented at the workshop are methodologically diverse, encompassing historical research, mathematical modeling, quantative studies, and interpretive approaches.
