Graduate Workshops in the Humanities and Social Sciences

International Security Policy

PISP is a widely attended and intellectually vigorous workshop at the university. PISP’s activities revolve around a simple and important goal: to serve as a major center for scholarship and graduate student education for deep understanding of mainstream issues of international security. The workshop provides a forum for faculty and students to present original unpublished research papers, commonly a draft of a journal article or dissertation or book chapter. Topics include all aspects of the causes of war and peace, American national security policy, and international security affairs.
