Please join us for our third EthNoise! Ethnomusicology Workshop meeting of the Spring quarter, which will take place on Thursday afternoon, April, 9th, from 4:30 to 6, in Regenstein room 264.

Ieda Bispo, Ph.D student in Ethnomusicology from the Department of Music at the University of Chicago

Please join us for a special EthNoise! edition this Tuesday, April 7th at 5:00pm, in Regenstein, r. 264.
We will have a “dry run” of conference papers by Trent Leipert and Gregory Weinstein. This is an opportunity for them to practice their presentations and receive some friendly feedback.
Trent will be reading his paper, “Negotiating the Chanson: Serge Gainsbourg, 1958-1968.”
Greg will be presenting “‘A Window into a Performance’: Global Ideologies of Classical Music Recording in Post-Fordist London“.
The dry run will be held Tuesday, April 7th, at 5:00pm, in Regenstein, room 264.
