In our first social meeting of the quarter, Orit Bashkin and Na’ama Rokem, University of Chicago, will discuss the scholarly examination of Jews within majority culture in the context of their recent book projects: New Babylonians (Bashkin) and Prosaic Conditions (Rokem).
