The Mass Culture Workshop is pleased to present:
Matt Hauske, PhD Candidate, Cinema and Media Studies: “The Western’s New Horizons: Wide Screens, Big Canvases, and the Great Outdoors in the 1950s,” a chapter from his dissertation on postwar Hollywood westerns and their cultural contexts, including adjacent leisure and aesthetic practices and forms.
