Workshop advertising
Workshop blogs
Each workshop now has an assigned blog that can be accessed directly by interested participants. The use of the blog should mean less photocopying of schedules, papers, announcements, etc. The blogs should be sufficient for publicizing the workshops. If, nevertheless, a coordinator wishes to establish a separate website, they can reference the websites below for help.

Posting Policies
Please post workshop information on the bulletin board outside the Council office. Any announcements from the Council will be posted there as well. Coordinators must also follow the University policy for posting information on campus
Public Event Notice for Persons with Disabilities
University policy requires that in any advertising for any workshop event open to the University community or general public, you include a statement informing persons with disabilities whom they may contact to get assistance in attending the event. All workshops are public forums. The following statement must appear on any advertising for meetings or other functions sponsored by your workshop:
“Persons with a disability who believe they may need assistance, please call [name of workshop coordinator] in advance at [phone number where coordinator may be contacted].”
If someone contacts the CAS office with questions regarding access to your event, he/she will be referred to the workshop coordinator for further information/
