Please join us for the first workshop of the winter quarter this Friday, March 30, from 12-1:30 in CWAC 152.

Beth Woodward, PhD student in Art History, will discuss her work on “Pictorial Ambiguity and Active Viewing in a Thirteenth-Century Devotional Book: The Art Institute of Chicago Picture Cycle (AIC MS 1915.533).”  The article and related images are posted below under password protection. Emanuela Zanotti Carney will provide the response. Emanuela received her PhD in Italian at the University of Chicago (August 2011) and is currently lecturer in Italian at the University of Illinois Chicago.
