We will be discussing a paper by History PhD candidate Aaron Hill, entitled, “An Argument for the Centrality of Historical Consciousness in Revolutionary Ideology: France and Germany, 1880 – 1930″

The next meeting of the Social Theory Workshop will take place this coming Monday, March 7 at 8pm in Wilder House (5811 S. Kenwood Ave). We are pleased to be hosting former workshop participant Andrew Sartori, currently Assistant Professor of History at New York University. We will be discussing Prof. Sartori’s paper “Global Intellectual History and the History of Political Economy.”

We will be discussing a paper by Spencer Leonard, Collegiate Assistant Professor in the College at the University of Chicago, entitled, “Adam Smith, Karl Marx, and Bourgeois Revolutionary Consciousness.”
