Description
The Theater and Performance Studies (TAPS) Workshop is pleased to announce its 2013 research grant competition. The TAPS research grant is a modest award intended to defray the costs of dissertation-related research in theater and/or performance studies. We welcome applications both from students exploring a potential dissertation topic and those conducting dissertation research. We will fund research in theater and performance studies broadly construed, including but not limited to archival research, performance-based research, artist interviews, collaborations with performers, etc. The grant will generally not fund conference travel, but we encourage applications to cover travel and associated costs required for a research project, or to cover necessary expenses for a project or collaboration in Chicago.
